Your Innkept code is a few lines that tell your website where to show the booking form. Paste it once, usually on a Book, Enquire or Get a quote page.
<div id="innkept-quote"></div>
<script
src="https://innkept.co.uk/embed/v1/loader.js"
data-key="pk_live_xxx"
async></script>
Where to find yours
Your dashboard home shows your code, ready to copy. You'll also find it on the Widget page: click Add to site next to a form. The code already has your own key in it, so copy it as it is.
What it does
The first line marks the spot on your page. The second loads the booking form into that spot. It loads in the background, so it won't hold up the rest of your page. The form keeps its own look, so your website's styles won't change it and it won't change your website.
Size and layout
The form fills the width of the space you put it in and grows taller as the guest moves through the steps. Don't squeeze it into a fixed-height box. If you want it narrower on a wide page, your web person can set a maximum width on the first line:
<div id="innkept-quote" style="max-width: 720px; margin: 0 auto;"></div>
If your website won't keep the id
Some website builders rename ids. If so, put data-innkept-target on the element where
you want the form instead, and the form will appear there:
<div data-innkept-target></div>
More than one form
You can make different versions of your booking form on the Widget page, such as
a viewings-only form or one for corporate events. Each version has its own code under
Add to site, with an extra data-config line that picks the version.
Use one form per page.
