How push works

Field mapping, retries, isolation. The boring stuff that has to work.

Every active connection gets every new lead. Each one is sent separately, so if one has a problem, say HubSpot is down, the others still arrive. Every connection gets the same details; only where they end up in your CRM differs.

What happens to a new lead

  1. The guest sends your booking form. The lead and quote are created.
  2. Within a few seconds, Innkept sends the lead to each active connection.
  3. If it arrives, the connection shows the time it last sent a lead.
  4. If it doesn't, the connection shows what went wrong.

When something goes wrong

If your CRM is briefly down or slow, Innkept tries again: after 10 seconds, a minute and five minutes. If the problem won't fix itself, such as your CRM login being removed, it stops and shows you the problem instead. Either way, the next lead gets a fresh try, and you can resend a failed lead with one click from the connection's Recent deliveries.

Sending details to your own CRM fields

Each connection has an optional Field mapping. Use it to send, say, the event date into a "Wedding date" field you've made in your CRM. Most venues don't need it: each connection works out of the box.

Email notifications are free on every plan and don't count towards the limit.

What you can connect

  • HubSpot: a Contact, with a note carrying the event details
  • Pipedrive: a Person, plus a Deal at the quote value
  • Salesforce: a Lead, with no duplicates
  • Airtable: one row per lead in your base
  • Mailchimp: added to your audience, respecting their marketing choice
  • Webhook: for your own systems (developer guide)
  • Zapier: connect thousands of other apps
  • Make & n8n: the same, with other automation tools
  • Email: a new-lead email to any address

Adding a connection

Open Integrations, find the one you want under Available and click Connect. For most CRMs you'll sign in to your own account and approve Innkept. Your leads always go to your own account, never through a shared one.

Checking on a connection

Each connection on the Integrations page shows when it last sent a lead and, if something went wrong, what the problem was. Open it to see Recent deliveries: each lead it tried to send, whether it worked, and a button to try again.
