Every lead has a status, so you and your team can see where each enquiry stands at a glance. There are six, and leads move through them roughly in order.
The six statuses
| Status | What it means | Who sets it |
|---|---|---|
| New | Just arrived. Nobody has replied yet. | Innkept, when the guest sends the form. |
| Contacted | Someone has replied or called. | You. |
| Viewing booked | A visit to the venue is in the diary. | Innkept, if the guest books a viewing on the form. Otherwise you. |
| Quoted | You've sent a formal quote. Often the one Innkept made is enough. | You. |
| Won | Booked: contract signed, deposit paid. | You. |
| Lost | Didn't book. Add a note saying why. | You. |

What's kept on a lead
- Name, email and phone.
- Event type, date and guest numbers.
- Whether they ticked your marketing opt-in.
- The page on your website they enquired from.
- Where they came from, such as a Google ad, Facebook or a newsletter link.
- Your internal notes.
- The status, and when the lead arrived.
Finding leads
The Leads page shows 50 at a time, newest first. Filter by status, or show just this month's. Export CSV downloads the leads you're looking at as a spreadsheet.
How fast you replied
When you first mark a lead Contacted, Innkept notes the time, so you can see how long it took to reply. The quicker you reply, the better your chance of the booking.
Statuses stay in Innkept
Changing a lead's status doesn't update your CRM. Your CRM has its own stages and they rarely line up neatly. Innkept sends each lead once, when it arrives.
