Each new lead becomes a Person in Pipedrive, or updates them if they're already there. Innkept also creates a Deal worth the quote total, with a note carrying the event details and the proposal link.
Connecting
The easy way: open Integrations, click Connect next to Pipedrive, then Connect Pipedrive. Sign in to your own Pipedrive account and approve access. The connection renews itself, and you can remove Innkept's access from Pipedrive at any time.
If that option isn't there, use your API token (still your own account):
- In Pipedrive, click your profile picture (top right), then Personal preferences → API.
- Copy your API token.
- Note your company's Pipedrive address, e.g.
fettlewoodbarn.pipedrive.com. Enter it in full, withouthttps://. - Paste both into Innkept and save.
What arrives in Pipedrive
The Person gets:
- Name: the guest's full name.
- Email: labelled work.
- Phone: labelled mobile, if they gave one.
To fill in your own Pipedrive fields, such as an event date field, open the Pipedrive connection in Innkept and add a row under Field mapping. Put the Pipedrive field's key on the left (you'll find it in Pipedrive's data fields settings) and pick the Innkept value on the right.
Deals
Every enquiry also creates a Deal in the first stage of your default pipeline. It's named after the event, e.g. "Wedding — Ada Thorne", valued at the quote total, linked to the Person, and has the event note attached. To move deals into a different pipeline or stage, set up an automation in Pipedrive.
